TheNYTis reporting that you will soon begin seeing picture ads in Gmail. They spoke to Google’s Alex Gawley who oversees Gmail. Gawley reveals that they will be based on the email that you read although they won’t be animated. This comes as part of Google’snew focuson improving ads in Gmail. The ads will be positioned on the right side of the screen and will pull data from the email coming into your inbox, just as the text-only ads do now....

There have been rumblings of a 10-inch tablet coming from HTC for a while now, butBoy Geniushas uncovered some images of the device and it actually looks pretty slick. The device is rumored to have a 1.5GHz processor and come in a 4G LTE flavor for AT&T’s network. Currently it’s known by its codename, ‘Puccini’. The images reveal an 8MP camera and an LED flash, as well as rear-facing speakers and what appears to be a large microphone....

Images of an iPhone that seems to be a prototype of some sort have been posted online,reports9to5Mac. The iPhone may be a next-gen device, but it is just as likely a prototype version of the current iPhone 4 designed to test compatibility with China Mobile’s network. The prototype shows China Mobile as the carrier and appears to be running baseband 06.10.01. This is a new baseband that has yet to be released....
