The CRTC’s decision to force independent ISP’s to charge for bandwidth overages caused an uproar across Canada. Many opponents of the new legislation used Netflix as a prime example of a service that would be too expensive to use if the decision was not overturned. And this must have seriously grabbed Netflix attention....

Netflix is considering launching N-Plus, a behind-the-scenes content hub

Netflix is apparently considering launching a new platform called ‘N-Plus.’ The company began sending out a survey to customers, including TNW’sAbhimanyu Ghoshal, asking them if they’d use the service, which would include a variety of services that allow you to go more in-depth with the streaming service’s content. According to the survey, N-Plus would include “text, image, and video feeds you can sign up for news, interviews, analysis, deep dives, games, how-tos, audience conversations, music, podcasts and more....

Netflix is rolling out Spatial Audio — here’s why that’s great news for iOS users

Watching Netflix content on Apple’s mobile devices is about to get much more immersive. The streaming service today confirmed (via9to5Mac) that it’s rolling out Spatial Audio support on iPhone and iPad devices, which essentially lets you listen to surround sound and Dolby Atmos using just your headphones.
