A Chinese Twitter user has discovered an alternate server that provides access to the mobile Web version of the website from within China, where it is officially blocked by the government,reports Penn-Olson. Twitter has been blocked in China since June 2009 and the micro-blogging market in the country is dominated by Sina and Tencent whose Weibo (meaning ‘microblog’ in Chinese) services havea combined 300 million registered usersbetween them. Chinese residents who’ve wanted to use Twitter have so far had to use proxies, VPNs and other similar hacks to get around the Great Firewall....

It’s Super Service Pack Wednesday here in the world of Microsoft. Just hours after the service packs for Windows 7 and Server 2008 received afinal release date, we have new data on the first major service updates for Office 2010 and Sharepoint 2010. According toa post on Technet, “consumers can expect a public release of Office and SharePoint 2010 SP1s between May and November of this year.” This fits into the usual Microsoft cycle of releasing service packs between one and two years after a full version release (named or numbered)....

A blurred screenshot is posted below. It took Google around 22 minutes to pull the content down and close the channel but even now,search results[NSFW] for Sesame Street on YouTube reveals the occasional graphic thumbnail. Although unconfirmed, according to areddit comment, it may have been a revenge attack as the name of the account was changed to a YouTube user calledMrEdxwximplying he was the person behind the hack....
