Android operator billing comes to Europe, Vodafone the first to launch

UK mobile operator Vodafone has become the first carrier in Europe to roll out operator billing for Android devices, allowing its customers in the UK (and soon Germany) to charge app purchases to their existing mobile bill. Android powers 70% of South Korean smartphones as sales top 10 million

Sales of smartphones powered by Google’s Android mobile operating system passed 10 million units in South Korea this week, after sales data was released by mobile carriers operating in the country,Yonhap News reports.
