Apple apparently leaks a brand-new LED display with Thunderbolt

Well this isn’t something that you see Apple do every day. According toMacrumors, the company prematurely posted several images of a new LED displayon its site, with the part numberMC914. This part number had been previously ascribed to new MAcBook models. The new display is also shown to have a Thunderbolt port in other images on Apple’s site. The new LED display looks almost identical to the existing LED Cinema Display, although the promotional images on the site show it off with the default Lion background, not the older Snow Leopard one....

Apple appoints former LG executive to run its Korean operations

Apple looks to be galvanising its operations in Korea after it has reported that the Cupertino-based company has appointed Dominique Oh, former Vice President of LG’s Smartphone Business, as its new general manager in Korea. Oh, who still lists LG as his current employeron LinkedIn, was appointed as the new head of Apple’s Korean unit early Wednesday according an industry source, who wished to remain anonymous. The new Apple general manager’s previous roles saw him oversee LG”s Android and Windows Phone 7 product portfolios, as well as establishing relationships with global operators and potential partners....

Apple will need to cough up $300 million from its pocket for LTE patent infringement. Apple asked to remove “Third Intifada” app from iOS App Store
