It’s only been three days sinceApple announced the new iPhone 4S, but true to its word, the company hasswitched live preordersfor the new device and has enabled Sprint customers in the U.S to order the the iPhone 4 for the first time. Verizon hasgone live on its website, offering the 16GB iPhone 4S for $199.99 on a two-year contract, reduction from $649.99. The 32GB costs $299.99 and 64GB $399.99, with a delivery date of October 14....

Last year saw a flurry of rumors about Apple launching a potential ‘iWatch’ wearable device, and with a flurry of rumors came a flurry of concept designs. One of my favorites wasThomas Bognor’s in October, which TNW’s former CEO Zee M Kane called “sexy as hell”. And that it was, but there was a problem – the horizontally oriented UI would have been impossible to use. Now however, Todd Hamilton, a UI designer based in San Fransico, has built on Bognor’s basic idea and come up with a concept that’s not only sexy as hell, but conceptually functional too....

Korean smartphone and tablet giant Samsung will attempt to overturn a ban on European imports and sales of its Galaxy tablets on August 25, with the Dusseldorf court expected to make a decision in the weeks following the hearing,Reuters reports. On Tuesday, Apple was granted a preliminary injunction by a German court barring distribution of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 in almost the entire European Union, with only the Netherlands exempted....

It was sold out within 24 hours at every store in The Netherlands....
