Update (14/12/2021): Apple has finally released an Android app calledTracker Detector, so you can find rouge AirTags around you, even if you don’t have an iPhone or an iPad. Apple’s Find My network to detect AirTags and compatible devices, but there’s no background scanning. That means you have to manually open the app and scan for AirTags around. Looking at the early user reviews on the Play Store, people are furious....

At WWDC today, Apple announced that iOS 15 will allow you to send your friends and family a link for a FaceTime call — like, you know, almost every other video calling service. While Apple sold the feature by saying it will allow you to schedule future FaceTime calls, this also allows for another new bit of functionality: FaceTime is coming to Android. It’s about time. Apple is to open a new store in New York’s Grand Central Terminal in the Autumn that is likely to be the biggest Apple Store in the world, at least because of its retail space. Currently, the Apple’s largest retail store is located in Covent Garden, London and occupies an area of 40,000 square foot, 16,000 of which is publicly accessible. The new store will be bigger than the Covent Garden store and is part of Apple’s “big splash” to celebrate ten years of Apple retail....
