The controversial .xxx Top Level Domain aimed at adult-themed sites is starting to come to life. AsDomain Name Newsreports,IANA, the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority, yesterday added therecently-approvedTLD to the root nameservers. Indeed, a site dedicated the domains,xxx.xxxis now live, as are placeholder sites at sex.xxx and porn.xxx (all Safe For Work at the time of writing). While some registrars are taking pre-orders for .xxx domains, it’s not yet known when the first real sites with go live....

The designers toyed with the concept of using laser beams, WiFi, bluetooth and computer syncing to create a wall-mounted clock that displays all sorts of information like weather, appointments, stock market, and everything else. There’s a touchpad UI that lets users conveniently login using their fingerprint. Oh, and it also tells the time in a completely awesome way....

Wouldn’t it be awesome if there was a device to solve this? Samsung may be up to the challenge with its concept device: the Real Translator. It supposedly works by holding up the device equipped with a transparent AMOLED while facing the person you are talking to. The device will then interpret whatever is spoken in real time and give a rough translation on the spot....
