Klout, the tool regarded as the standard in measuring a user’s impact on their Twitter network, has just released a beta version of its upcoming redesign with the goal of creating a more engaging environment for users to gauge their personal influence.

The layout changes are quite obvious. It has a much cleaner interface, which I personally think is an improvement over the old Klout. It’s much easier to understand and navigate as it manages to fit everything in a single page.

Aside from the aesthetic changes, Klout is also introducting a new meritocracy system called Klout Perks. The perk going on right now is a partnership between Klout andBottlenotesto give key influencers VIP tickets to an extra exclusive event: Around the World in 80 Sips, with special access to a crowd-free hour and 12 special wines.
