Apple has today made its iBookstore available in 25 more countries, expanding the market for iBooks out to many more markets,reports author Liz Castro.
The new countries available are Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden and Switzerland.
These options have become available in iTunes connect for authors that are looking to market their wares in more regions. To add one of the new countries, go to iTunes Connect and open up your book. Then click the ‘Add New Territory’ button.
The addition of these territories to iTunes Connect is a preview of the fact that these countries should be able to purchase books through the iBookstore soon. Making it available to the authors ahead of time will ensure that there is content available in those markets when the store goes live there.

Previously, authors were only able to choose from the US, UK, France, Germany, Australia, and Canada.
