When it comes to arranging a group meeting,Doodleis by far one of the easiest ways of quickly working out who’s available when. Now the Swiss startup is expanding into one-to-one meetings with a new service calledMeetMe.

It works like this: You hook up your Google, Outlook or Lotus Notes calendar account, or your calendar feed URL, and share your public MeetMe URL (examplehere) with anyone who wants to meet with you. They can see when you’re busy (although not exactly what you’ll be doing) and can request a meeting with you right there and then. If you approve, the meeting is added your calendar… and it’s as simple as that.

As productivity apps go, you can’t get much more straightforward than MeetMe. There are options to customise the look of your calendar page with a photograph, personal information and custom graphics and colours if you choose but other than that, this is one of those apps where the beauty lies in its simplicity.

Doodle MeetMe is in beta andfree to use.
