Baidu, China’s top search company, just unveiled its Web 2.0 social bookmarking button called “Baidu Share,” which is currently in closed beta.

According toMarbridge Daily, users can embed the “Baidu Share” Javascript code into their website, allowing their visitors to share content from the site to 16 different social networking services, including Sohu Microblog, Renren, Kaixin001, Tencent Qzone, Pengyou and Microblog, Sina Weibo, Taobao’s Tao Jianghu, and surprisingly –theonly English productin the mix — Google Buzz.

Aside from increasing traffic to participating sites via social networks, the Baidu Share button also makes it easier for websites to be found by Baidu’s search engine.

In the coming months, Baidu will also be releasing a free, detailed analysis tool that lets users track what content is being shared to which websites and the frequency of the shares.
