If you are into gadgets and consider yourself tech-savvy, the perfect job has just become available, courtesy of UK television broadcaster Channel 4.
The corporation has just announced a new role that requires someone with a passion for technology and gadgets to join the presenting team for a new documentary series called Future Family. It’s a web-based programme that will follow the average family as their lives are transformed using new and futuristic technology and gadgets.
The series, produced in partnership with E.on, consists of five episodes and will focus on the latest environmental and energy-saving technology, looking into how new developments change the way people live.
The position is open to people of any age or sex, but requires you to have a genuine passion for technology and be confident speaking about the latest gadgets and inventions with credibility.

It’s easy to apply to become the show’s resident technology expert, all you have to do is emailfuturefamily@twofour.co.uk. You will then be sent a short application form and be required to submit a one minute video clip of yourself talking about a piece of technology that interests you.
If you are successful, you will be given the opportunity to front the Future Family web series, helping to explain the different technologies featured in the show.
