Google has unveiled a new tool for app developers with applications on the Android Market, rolling out new a statistical dashboard that will allow those with applications on the Market to learn more about how people use their apps and where app users are located.
The new service is similar to Google’s Analytics statistics platform, providing developers with the option to drilldown to the top ten values such as Android versions, looking at what devices make up their userbase (by manufacturer and model), as well as showing the the country in which the app was installed and the language of the device.
PocketNow reportsGoogle is also providing a comparison service for some apps, displaying a “Market All Apps” column that will show how an app performs against other apps on the Market.
