Google recently released a handyAndroid appthat allowed you to use your phone as a remote control for Google TV. Now the app hasmade the leapover to the iPhone.

Just like the original Android version, the app makes bookmarking channels and searching for shows quick and easy. There’s even a voice control function for couch potatoes too lazy to tap away at their iPhone screen for too long.

Sadly, one of the best features of the Android app isn’t yet available for the iOS version. Android users can share web pages right from their phone’s browser to their TV. iPhone users won’t be able to do that, although Google doesn’t explain the reason for the omission. We’ve contacted them and will let you know as soon as we hear back.

Google TV Remote is free todownloadin the App Store now.
