LG’s PR machine is kicking into gear – soon after aleaked imageof the Optimus 3D surfaced, the company confirmed it would be heading to Barcelona for aMobile World Congress launch.
Today, LG hasuploaded a new teaser videoto one of its YouTube accounts, giving us a small glimpse of the new 3D smartphone but delivering it with commentary so lacking in coherence, we can’t tell if its intentional or not.
Delivering quotes in a newspaper headline style, the company wants us to know:
It has a certain “All Your Base” vibe about it, don’t you think?
That said, LG does lend some credibility to earlier rumours that the Optimus 3D will be powered by a dual-core processor with multi-channel RAM, making it the first smartphone of its kind. LG has already confirmed the smartphone will have a stereoscopic screen with a dual-lens camera to enable 3D recording, with HDMI and DLNA connectivity.
