According to aYouGov poll, 63% of Europe’s city dwellers want to see a ban on the sale of new diesel and gasoline cars after 2030.
The survey asked 10,500 individuals who are residents of 15 cities over eight countries whether they were in favor of the ban. Cities included Paris, Budapest, and London. Of course, a ban of this nature is already set tocome into force in the UK.
Residents of Rome were most in favor, with 77% voting for a ban.
An average of 29% were against the idea, and 8% said they didn’t know how they felt.
