We don’t normally write about apps that simply time your dinner, but we’ve found one that is surprisingly cool.
KitchenPad Timerassists foodies in juggling multiple dishes on a digital oven and stove top. Multiple timers (for each burner) can be assigned to each dish, coupled with the temperature. Adding the temperature comes in handy later because, if you cook something to perfection, you can save the time and temperature setting to your favourites. KitchenPad can also send alerts and push notifications while the app is running in the background. It’savailablefor $1.99 in the app store. I burn side dishes 50 percent of the time so I seriously needed something like this.
