If you love Instagram on your iPhone and want a great way to get that same toy camera feel on your computer, Pixlr-o-Matic is perfect for you. Better yet, you can do it from anywhere right in your browser. It’s a Chrome web app, so you’ll want todownload that extension, but you can also just head tothe websiteif you happen to not use Chrome.

You have the choice to upload photos or to take them with an attached webcam, as long as the Flash interface works for you. For me, it never does, so I had to rely on a locally-stored file.

There are three sections to manipulate, including color processing, some film effects and then borders. Once you’re finished, you can upload it to an included service or save it to your computer locally. I played around with the Pixlr-o-Matic with one of my own photos and thought you’d like to check out the results so here you go:

Calling all Scaleup founders! Join the Soonicorn Summit on November 28 in Amsterdam.

Meet with the leaders of Picnic, Miro, Carbon Equity and more during this exclusive event dedicated to Scaleup Founders!

So there you have it. It’s a fun toy and works well. Drop by and check it out, then of course it’s time to link up your pictures to show us what you’ve created.
