If you are an MSDN or TechNet user, the first service pack for Windows 7 is now available for download.
If you are a member of the general public, you have to wait until the 22nd of February to download your copy. This release of the first service pack is on time with regards to previously stated dates.
If you are not familiar with the now live service pack, this is what you can can expect: a host of minor (incremental) upgrades and improvements and upgrades to the OS. Also, the first service pack for Server 2008 R2 will contain the much awaited RemoteFX, a tool to help boost the 3-D graphical experience for users who are working remotely.
