Microsoft loves to tie its products together, creating a meshed network of features, software, and gadgets all working in harmony. Today we saw, for the first time, awonderful demoof coming Kinect and Windows Phone 7 integration that might give the new mobile line the sales bump it needs.

The demonstration, in the video below, centers around users of Windows Phone 7 handsets running game elements for the person using the Kinect to interact with. In the game shown, two Windows Phone 7 handsets are used to throw balls that the Kinect user has to flail about to hit.

If you like the Kinect, you are going to like what Microsoft is up to. This was unveiled by Microsoft’s Joe Belfiore at the 2011 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Sadly, at the current moment there is no date range for the launch of the integration, but good things come to those who wait.
